El Olivo Nature & Life aims to fulfill a growing need for time spent outdoors, fostering authentic and meaningful relationships with the natural world, encouraging learning and creativity for all.
Our vision is to enable children to enjoy learning through play; helping them to make sense of the world whilst developing their physical, cognitive and social skills. We provide a safe and stimulating outdoor environment that makes learning fun, is guided by the Forest School approach.
The natural world offers endless learning opportunities that support our children to be curious and creative problem solvers. Our children learn through first-hand real-life experiences; are able to follow their own interests and we provide them the tools they need to manage their own challenges.
We have high expectations of our children and follow an approach that develops their independence, resilience and self-confidence. We believe that the Olivo Forest School offers the optimum learning environment for our little explorers.
Our vision is also that families have time to connect with nature and with themselves, that they enjoy experiential experiences covering their learning needs and concerns.
Mariana Orensans founded El Olivo Nature & Life to provide nature immersion programs for Finestrat and surrounding families. Mariana is also passionate about music, art and science. She loves to ignite curiosity and wonder in children with unstructured proposal free experimentation.
