Summer Camp

• Our Summer Camp El Olivo is offered June Monday to Friday each week.
• Our summer camp El Olivo provides children the opportunity to play, learn and explore in a 100% nature immersion setting.
• Our Summer Camp El Olivo includes hiking, base camp for free play, shelter building, playing in mud and water, using tools, crafts with natural material, storytelling, music and more.

Rhythm of the Day

1. 9:00 a.m. Arrival at the base camp in the recreational area of El Olivo. This is where the children of Olivo will make their home in nature for the day.
2. 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Assembly and breakfast. The children of the Olivo meet in a Circle to connect and welcome the day by singing a song, sharing gratitude. While we have breakfast, the guides review safety, limits and tell the plan for the day.
3. 10:05 a.m. to 12:20 a.m. Exploration and free play. Olivo children have free time to explore, play, connect with their environment, experiment and learn. The guides will make open proposals in the space to stimulate the interest and curiosity of the children of the Olivo. 
4. 12:25 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Cleaning time and lunch.
5. 1:20 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. Proposed experimentation or art activity.
6. 1:40 to 14:00 Assembly and farewell. Finding a quiet place to sit in nature, the Del Olivo children reflect on their day and give thanks before being picked up. We sing a song to say goodbye.
